World Cup Competition entry deadline drawing near
The entry deadline for the Kwwika World Cup 2010 Real-Time Push Web App - Apple iPad competition sponsored by TellyLinks.com is the 1st of July at 22:00 so I thought I'd get in touch to ask you to confirm your entry. If you would like your real-time push application to be considered for entry could you please get in touch with me (an email/reply to phil@kwwika.com is fine) and provide me with the following information in order for your application to be considered for entry:
- Your name and the URL of your blog or website that we'll link your name to
- A short description about your World Cup application
- The URL of your application
I'll then post this information on a dedicate Kwwika Wiki page, write a blog post on the Kwwika blog and try and create more of a buzz about the competition to drive traffic to your applications to see what people think.
One key point that I've potentially not made clear is that you can still improve your application after you have entered it. Developing is a learning process after all. However, a weighting will be applied to the judging to give credit to those that have a fully featured application ready for July 1st. A final decision about the winning application will be made at 11th of July at 19:00 - just before the World Cup 2010 final.
